Weather
The weather outside is firghtful. Crafting with Close to my heart is delightful! I pulled out all my odds and ends and I made the up coming birthday card workshop! I found things I had on hand and used up older bits and pieces. It was so easy when the cloros co-ordinate so easily! I was also able to cut down the price for my customers! $20 instead of $25! That is always exciting. iam goiing to be teaching new techniques and refresh some old ones! Forking(now that makes you wonder huh?), reverse embossing, cricut AP cart layering, sand distressing to make patterend paper, ink distressing, water color pencils and so much more! FUN! looking forward to teaching this! See you Saturday!

Good day monday!(to the tune of good day sunshine)
Some days you wake up with a tune in your heart. This is one of those days for me. I am enjoying my life. dreameed about making my home what I want it and paper crafting last night. Going to work hard this week to get some crafting done and turn my dreams into reality!

Making your home a beautiful place to be. I have lots of ideas on how to use CTMH products to beautify your home. How about using the cricut Art philosphy cartidge to put a a favorite quote on your wall? Making layouts into wall art that changes with the season to share with family and guests.
Enjoying your friends and family. use CTMH to decorate for that birthday party or baby shower. Send out cards to let people know you are thinking about them. or maybe a simple gift to a co-worker or secret sister at church to make her day. then take the wonerful pictures you take of family, friends and events and turn them in to a beautiful memory with traditional scrapbooking supplies or maybe with studio J! Choices, choices and more choices!
I want to share my excitement with everyone this month! It is super fun packed and BUSY! I LOVE it!
So we have 5 events this month that you can participate in! Choose one or choose them all! Don't you have alot of pictures from 2011 you want to get scrapped? Or maybe you need to keep up with those you care about and send cards to them to let them know you care? Do I have the workshops for you!?!
January 13 is Ink club. We make a cute gift and card(a minimum of a $5 value). Members get to be hostess one out of 6 months and get hostess credit! Anyone may join. If your not a member a $15 order minimum is required. 6:30PM light snacks are served. Scissors and adhesive needed. Can be done as a distance workshop(of course more fun in person!)
January 15 is Simply Scrappin. This is a workshop to make a simple and fun 2 page layout. We always have a drawing to win the stamp set we use. Anyone may join. This may be done as a distance workshop. This doesn't require alot of skills or equipment. Scissors and adhesive. Everything is precut for you! 1:30 in the afternoon and light snacks and coffee and tea served.
January 21, 4:00 PM Workshop on the go club. This is a club that if you are member you get hotess credit one month out of 6. This may done as a distance club. Anyone may join us at anytime with a purchase of the workshop kit. Memebers are the only ones who get hostess credit so you may want to sign up! This month we will be making the winter wonerland kit. Each kit comes with a stamp set, a level 2 paper set and all the do-dads you need to make beautiful pages. For this club you will need scissors, adhesive, a paper trimmer, my acrylics blocks and you may need other tools depending on the work shop. These kits are a great value and give you wonderfull intructions on how to put your pages together! Space is limited to 10 so make sure you RSVP and I need at least 1 week to order your kit!
January 21, 6:00 PM Crop till you drop! This is a free crop!Come have fun! Bring whatever you would like to work on. Contact me a week ahead of time if you want to order some supplies. You may use my stamps, tools and my cricut while you are here. Best of all you have me for technical advice! Come have fun with a great group of people(yes men are welcome too!) A potluck snack to share is appriciated! See you there...and remember it is until Rebecca DROPS, not unusual for us to be playing until 2 AM! :)
January 28, 3:00 PM, Birthday card workshop! This is a fundraiser for new toys or equipment for the kids at Step Ahead Childcare. 10 cards and envelopes. 5 designs, 2 of each. You don't need a bunch of special equipment or skills for this. For $5 we will make the cards for you! Handmade birthday cards. Male, female and kids! $5 from each sale goes to the fundraiser. Space is limited so register early! I can do this distance as well for the extra cost of shipping!
