Making goals and making them work for you!

Today I am thrilled! THRILLED  I tell you!

I made a goal for October. I wasn't sure how but I wanted to recruit 2 new upline. This makes 4! I mentioned to a friend what I was wanting to do and how much I wanted to earn the cruise this year! She signed up. What a great friend! How supportive! I am going to keep reaching for the satrs because you never know when you might catch one. Thanks Leiloni, you are a star in my book. What a terrific friend!

20 miles a day

I saw a story this morning about success. I want to apply the concepts to my life. The story talked about making a cross country trip walking. It said there were 2 ways to do it. One way would be to walk 50 miles on good weather days and less on bad weather days. Another way would be to walk 20 miles a day not matter what. The point was to make an obtainable goal every day and do it. Not to let the outside influences hold you back. I am doing this with my business.  My long term goal is to earn the cruise for next year. My short term goal is to make 2 contacts every day. Wether I call an old customer or make a new contact. There are lots of little goals along the way. Keep watching and see what happens!

Off we go!

Going to Boy Scout camp for the weekend! This should be a great opportunity to get some pictures and have somthing fun to scrap when I get home!  the theeme this year is "backpackastan" they are rescuing somthing that crashed there.(hmm sounds like a a fun made up story right?)The boys will all be wearing Camo! So my co-oridnating paper colors will be chocolate, olive, bamboo, desert sand and black. Hmm this should be interesting. I challenge you to make somthing out of these colors! See what you can come up with! I will be posting REAL pictures next week to share!

Everyone send me WARM wishes, my biggest fear is I am a cold person and it is supposed to rain all weekend. The time with boys should be fun!

That time of year

The weather has turned for the cooler. The leaves have started to fall. there is a certain crispness in the air and our sweaters are making their appearences. I got my first HOT coffee from starbucks today and am relishing the warmth. Fall is here for sure.

Time to pull out the craft supplies and get busy. Christmas cards to make. Fall decorations to pull out for the house. Time for friends and family to come in side and warm their hands and warm their hearts with each others company.

Hope to see all of my crafty friends in the next few weeks to work on projects!

October events

Our first event is @4:00 on October 15. This is a Scrapbooking workshop/club. We have 6 regular members who crop at this workshop.Anyone may join us as long as I know in time to order them  kit(by Friday the 6th this time) Each memeber gets to take a turn being host. We do a workshop on the go kit each time. We meet for this event every other month. We are starting a new club with this month. We will also be making up our kit from when I was ill. This month we are making the "dreamin" kit. the kit costs $29.95(plus tax and shipping) It has EVERYTHING you need to make 2-2 page layouts with lots of leftovers to make more paper crafting projects of your own imagination!

Then later that night we do "Crop till you drop". This is a FREE event! Come and join us for a fun time of scrapping. Bring whatever project you are working on. My tools and stamps are availabe for use. Please bring a potluck snack for everyone to share. This starts at 6 PM and goes until Rebecca drops!

October 21st is INK club. This is a monthly club comitment for 6 months. This is similar to a layaway program. The fee is $22.50 per month. Each member of the club  must pay each  month. They will each get to make a card and a little project with the club. We all take turns being the host. Each member gets host credit,stamp of the month discount price, their 24 inks(whatever month is theirs, they must also pay shipping and handleing) a total of 12 projects over the 6 months. This gives them a value of over $65 more than just the inks! October is Leiloni's month. November is Roberta's month. If you want to Join this great value club we are starting a new one in January. We meet on a Friday night.

October 22nd is our anual Christmas card class. Make cards that are like little special gifts to send your friends and family. This class is special to us becuase the proceeds go to Step Ahead Childcare to buy new toys for the children with out raising prices to parents. This event will be held at 10AM. We have 10 spaces available. Additional kits may be purchased for our long distance customers. Fully stamped and cut you just put them together. This workshop price is $25 for 10 cards and envelopes, 5 designs of 2 each. Shipping is additional. If you dont want to put them together  for an additional $5 we will put them together for you! Please register early as these spots usually fill fast. If there is a need we will have a second class! Pictures will be posted soon!

"Dreamin" about scrapbooking!

Hi, I am Rebecca. I am a Close To My Heart independant consultant. My work is so much fun!!! I am so excited about this year with CTMH. I have classes planned to teach other people how to do this! I LOVE this job! How many of you can say that? Well I can teach you how!

This Month I am hostessing Scrap club at my house on October 15th. We will be making beautiful pages out of the dreamin paper. We are using the workshops on the go "Dreamin" kit. Let me know if you want to join us.
